I bought this animal because I was tired of cutting steel the hard way. I have made 4 cuts on 4"x4" sched 80 square pipe and it did a good job so far. I know it will not have any problems on lighter material. I was concerned that it wouldn't be able to handle the 4x4, but it did great, out of the box.
