Having a laser sight on my tile saw sold me on their convenience, so it was well worth the added expense to purchase the variable laser for my DeWalt miter saw. It was easy to install and adjust. I might add that you may have to remove a few more screws than the instructions indicate to free up the connectors, but this was a minor difficulty. The laser is sharp and precise, exactly what I was seeking.
