I have used my DeWALT 20V MAX Li-Ion Reciprocating Saw for several hours while cleaning dead branches out of trees and some light metal cutting. It works great! The new 20 Volt Lithium Ion battery is lighter than I anticipated and puts out ample power. Its a great addition to the my DeWalt Premium Drill Driver Kit. I bought this tool primarily to trim tree branches down to size in my yard for which a chainsaw is overkill. It arrived about a week before Sandy. Great timing because it has done everything that I expected and more. It is is a very solid tool.

Awesome saw with plenty of power and light enough to keep going all day. Ability to use blades 4 different ways is a huge plus too.

THIS SAW BEATS MY OLD CORDED SAW BY A MILE. MY FIRST USE FOR IT WAS TO CUT OUT TWO SECTIONS OF FENCE ABOUT FORTY FEET FROM MY HOME. THIS WOULD HAVE MENT GETTING OUT THE FIFTY FOOT EXTENTION CORD,UNWINDING IT THREADING IT PAST THE TREES AND BUSHES.NO MORE WITH THIS DEWALT 20 VOLT. PLENTY OF POWER TO CUT THE PICKETS , TWO BYFOURS AND OLD RUSTED OUT SCREWS.
