DeWALT 20V MAX Li-Ion Brushless 3-Speed 1/4'' Impact Driver (Bare Tool)

ALL NEW BRUSHLESS MOTOR DESIGN
The DCF895B is the first impact driver using DeWALT's all new brushless technology and works far more efficiently compared to brushed motors and provides significantly more Runtime in a smaller, cooler running cordless power tool. Conventional brushed motors create friction which generates heat and slows the motor down. The new brushless motor design eliminates friction allowing the tool to run longer between charges.

Green on the left indicates electronic transfer within the tool. This allows the tool to run longer between charges. Red on the right indicates friction caused by brushes on conventional motors. This slows the motor down and generates heat.

3-SPEED CONTROL
The new DEWALT BRUSHLESS Impact Drivers feature 3-Speed selections for enhanced application control. The Electro-Mechanical speed selector is easily seen at all times and can be used with little effort. The selector allows for the ability to see what speed the tool is in without turning it on.

PUSH BUTTON CHUCK
The innovative push button chuck makes swapping out traditional accessories with a 1/4" hex as simple as pressing a button. To release the accessory, just press the small ergonomically placed button above the trigger while pulling the accessory out of the chuck. The push button chuck also accepts 1" bit tips to reduce the length of the driver front-to-back, making getting into tight spaces a snap.

FUEL GAUGE BATTERY PACKS
The DEWALT BRUSHLESS Impact Driver will feature Fuel Gauge Battery Packs. The batteries have three green LED lights that indicate charge level. A recessed push button design allows for durability and ease of use. By pushing this button, you will be able to check the amount of charge left in the battery before and after an application. 3 lights indicate a 100%-51% charge, two lights indicate a 50% to 26% charge, and one light indicates the pack is approximately 25% charged or less. These fuel gauge packs are fully interchangeable with existing 20V MAX* tools.
