Husband is very pleased

Comment:My husband is thrilled with this drill system.
It is light weight, and he can get it into tight places with ease. The battery can be used a long time before having to charge it up again.
It is a very strong drill for being so small, compared to the beast my husband used to use.

Comment:I have other 2 18v cordless drills which now gather dust. I have hardly used either of them since receiving the Dewalt. The DeWalt is lighter, better balanced and out performs either of the 18v drills. I would gladly reccomend it to everyone.Shop Guy

Comment:Much lighter than my previous drill. Battery charges faster too. Persnoally, not too thrilled with the clip, so I left that off, and just us a tool holster, but that really is a personal thing. Would definitely recommend this to family and friends. Price with rebate was great too!!!!Verktwo

Comment:I have had a Dewalt 953 I purchased over 15 years ago. It met all my needs and then some. This drill still runs but it probably needs a new battery. So I convinced my wife I needed a new drill. Ha! The new DCD 710 is super and is an excellent value! Works like a charm with plenty of precision and power. I stll might get the battery for the 953, but there is no hurry the 710 meets all of my requirements. But two drills are always better than one. Excellent products!DJCOOK

Lightweight and Powerful

Comment:My old 14.4 Dewalt finally gave it up, in the market for a replacement. The 12 volt is smaller lighter and still does eveything the old one did. While it wouldn't be my first choice for building a deck it is more than adequate for daily use, repairs, instalations and such. The Ion batteries give longer life and run at full power right up till they require recharging. Definitely worth the money.Handyman
