My first one did not have the quick detach guard so the guard went in the trash and the saw had to be hidden if there was a threat of OSHA popping by. Someone wanted that saw more than me so they stole it. The new saw is a pleasure to use. Blade insert removes without tools and the guard snaps on and off in a flash. The fence is outstanding. Hands down the best portable job saw on the market. A little pricey but worth every penny.
